Great story. You described Scotty's feelings towards both Lilly and Elisa very well. Glad that things are looking better for him after all!

I love how you imply that Stillman remembered it was the anniversary of Elisa's death; it seems very in character for him to remember that detail, especially since he was the one who kind of held Scotty's hand through that whole thing.

Scotty leaning over and seeing Elisa's image in the water and wondering what it'd be like to fall down there himself? Chills, seriously. Well done. And I also love the parallels between Elisa's drowning and Lil's near-drowning; no way would Scotty not freak out about that, and I had never made that connection before!

Not an undercover cop for nothin'! HEE! That's one thing I love about Scotty; even when he's really, really dark, he's still got his sense of humor.

Aww, I love the Lilly/Elisa meeting moment. That's one of my favorite scenes, how these two women who are so important in his life encounter each other for the first time, and he's standing there all awkward and uncomfortable! And I love how almost childlike Elisa was in her assessment of Lil. You're right, almost like she gave Scotty her blessing.

HA. Lilly catches him stalking her. Because she would. :)

AWWWW, the hug. That's just such a beautiful moment. And unlike in my story, he actually has the guts to tell her! Good boy, Scotty!

I love how she calls him a moron. 'Cause he is. AND THEN THEY KISS! *happy dance*
