Although Sirius and Walburga weren't on the best of terms when we hear of it in the books, I think this is quite accurate, because young children cannot help but want to impress their parents, and parents cannot help but help their children. This is great.

This is an interesting story. The way Sirius and Walburga were portrayed was very good. I liked their discussion about the colour-change charm. That was really nasty.

This is so wonderful! I don't think I've ever read a fic like this, when Sirius is young and, though Walburga sees problems in his propriety, she doesn't have a reason to dislike him yet, he's just her heir, just another son. It was absolutely fabulous seeing that, they both seemed really in character! I feel like this fits in really well with what we know of the two of them, with Walburga wanting to be the best out of everyone, putting others below her, that sort of thing. And I loved seeing Sirius very much as we see him in canon, but also sort of looking up to his mum, cause at that age, that's what he'd be like. People seem to overlook that in favour of showing the cold relationship they have from what we see later on in canon. This was perfection, thanks so much! :D
