I didn't expect this to turn out as it did, so good job for being unexpected. I love being surprised in stories, and I've not seen this sort of explanation/origin story before. *grins* This story really served to flesh out the first one, filling in most of those questions that you purposefully left us with. I can tell you put a fair bit of thought into the explanation behind it all, and it turned out well for that. You've still the odd spelling mistakes/typos/etc, and there's a chance you'll catch them now if you read it over again. (Your/you're, loose/lose, that sort of thing; nothing major, but the sorts of things that will slip by the computer spell check.) But overall, you did a good job!

Ahh so Phantom gave up his 'soul' so to speak?! Aww, that's sort of sad in a way :(... but I haven't seen that idea used before so points for originality there!
This is an awesome origin story for the series - I could totally see it being used!
I also love how he names himself in tribute to Phantom, that was so sweet! Perfect way to end it!
Plus the little sprinklings of DxS were not missed :P. Very sly ;).
Hm.. I would quite like to see what would happen if Phantom was still alive... might give Danny a bit of split personality syndrome . . Or possibly a re write of the part of TUE where they meet Clockwork but make it relate to this story? So Sam and Tucker find stuff out and there's a lot of unsaid things and tension between Danny and Clocky in relation to Phantom? Might be interesting to write about :P. Anyway, whatever you chose - it'll be great :D

C) Maybe u can make a fanfic about all the ghost Phantom either hangs out with or all the ones who talked to him about their his life/afterlife in the Ghost Zone.

I can't belive I'm saying this but... I seriously think this was a better origin story than the actual official origin! Great job on this!

Got very excited when I saw this title when I was browsing :D
Awesome chapter! Gives a nice perspective on the portal incident, like I could imagine the look of complete helplessness that Danny gives his friends from within the portal :( Plus Sam and Tucker's reactions were fab! Especially Sam's... I'm a sucker for a bit of DxS ;p
Where it ended was perfect and I can't wait to see what happens next with Phantom! Good Job!
