PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAK chapter 5 . 3/3/2017 wait little sister orphanage... as in the LITTLE SISTER from bioshock 1&2 |
Dgreen20 chapter 12 . 2/11/2017 Decent fanfic. Follows the main story line a little too closely but makes it feel more realistic from a teenager's standpoint experiencing it all. Has it's fair share of funny moments, the funny one liners, and of course the romance was alright. Could have been better, could have been a whole lot worse. Can't complain too much because If i wanted a perfect 'everything tied up in a nice neat bow' story, I'm on the wrong damn site. 3.5/5 stars |
Lunacorva chapter 1 . 5/30/2015 Vid meant to start at 8:40 |
Lunacorva chapter 5 . 5/30/2015 You know, in regards to the whole "The protagonist is a monster because he killed all the people who tried to kill him." idea that's become so popular, I've always like the Freeman's Mind response: youtu . be / 9-m6F_KuB_Y?t8m40s |
pyrojack25 chapter 12 . 5/17/2015 That a pretty good story bro. From a crazy plot twist, to a good relationship, all the to the end was pretty damn good in my book. 9.5/10 ;) |
pyrojack25 chapter 6 . 5/13/2015 Crazy for some guy to put up with this s*** over a girl. |
FAN-OF-EPIC-FANTASY chapter 12 . 3/14/2015 dude awesome story. I'm going to read your sequel now. |
timunderwood9 chapter 12 . 6/11/2014 Hmmm, good twist, and like any good bioshock alternate twist it leaves unanswered questions. Why on earth does Patrick Harper want Booker De Witt's child? Because De Witt is another alternate version of him or because ... ? Anyways the memories thing and the way you had Patrick as the imaginary brother was awesome. And of course the fun wrongness of ending a story with a character shooting his own father before he was conceived. Though the canon thing where Booker is the father (along with Comstock) was way wronger of course. Really canon is so depressing, hence the need for fanfiction where E has a happier life somehow. Seriously though the question of who Booker is kind of is left open here. Otherwise awesome. Also as a side note, you should proof read harder or get a beta, there are a lot of silly misspellings to mention just a few that I recall 'nod' instead of 'not' somewhere, 'codpit' instead of cockpit and in this chapter 'White Ingine' instead of 'white injun' and 'will you come withered please' for what I assume was 'with us' Not that it is a real problem - but these mistakes occur waaaaay more frequently in this story than I'm used to seeing them. |
timunderwood9 chapter 7 . 6/11/2014 Hmmm, warm fuzzy and cute. A pair of adorably cute teens falling in love, while killing lots and lots and lots of people. Still though it is a lot more heart warming than the canon story (with the ending, and then with Burial at Sea...). Also, it does seem to be working for this story, especially as I get further into it (largely because seeing the exact same scenes but with the two as cute young persons rather than Booker who actually is a monster is fun), but in my experience it is usually more fun to read a story that doesn't exactly track the episodes from the canon source. |
timunderwood9 chapter 5 . 6/11/2014 Fun to watch the story play out as two kids running around. Also side note, E reads, a lot. Definitely including political stuff and novels. Whatever her opinion on racism (certainly negative given her idealism) she knows about it, it is possible she wouldn't know that restrooms were segregated, but she would know why people would segregate them. Seriously in literature from the time period the racism is regularly present. Not everywhere, but in a lot of places. |
