Interesting so far. Legend knows that aliens exist, by the way. The entities are aliens. And it's not clear why Cauldron is forcing a confrontation with Skitter, especially using Armsmaster. Seems dumb.

I love it when stories step up the quality of opponents to keep pace with stronger abilities of heroes. Good job!

Nifty story, Arthur, though the first two or three chapters have quite a few errors of the sort that look like they probably snuck in while editing sentence and paragraph structure. Dormant for a few years at this point, but such is the fate of nearly all fanfiction at some point, and it's a bit difficult to fit stories on Lensmen's scale into Worm's setting so it's understandable that it has stalled. That's not to say I wouldn't be interested in seeing more if the spirit does move you, of course :)

the Entities really kinda DO need a universe with planets round every sun don't they?

I just had the thought - everyone seems to be thinking 'Pupil of Earth' has to do with schooling. What if Taylor pushed the idea of being the 'Pupil' or 'Eye' of Earth? After all, it is another meaning of the word. And wouldn't that make things strange?

Also, Contessa mentioned it would take 10 years to make a Telepathy machine - why didn't anyone think that someone started one about 10-11 years ago? If they were a Tinker focused on just that, and didn't otherwise push for attention or do anything to call attention to themselves. . .

Like that the Triumvirate is able to use logic to try to figure out who 'Pupil' is. She needs to figure out a way to throw them off somehow.

I feel that you could have done the reveal a bit better, though. Maybe leave it for when Taylor confronts her? Telling us, as soon as she shows up, that she's an Eddorian, makes things a bit... boring? Not sure.

Wasn't expecting that.
