I loved this story. The angst was just right - enough to make us want more, but not so much to make the readers become despondent.

Your heart does ache for poor Seth at the beginning. To go to the extreme of wanting to stay injured so that he could stay with Roman is both touching and pathetically insane. But love makes us all do silly things. The irony of the fact that we already know that Roman is as deeply in love as Seth is adds to the poignancy. We know that there is nowhere else Roman would rather be than with his Seth, injured or not.

And, again, you have to love Dean for bringing everything to a boil. Without him, Seth and Roman would have continued with this farce for God knows how long (think of all the hospital bills that Dean saved Seth from...that alone deserves a round of applause). He cared enough for his partners to make sure that they realized that it would all be okay - that all they needed to do was walk through that door that (as Seth put it) he kicked open for them.

And God bless Seth, for being absolutely terrified, but still being the one to make that first step and confess his love. And let's be honest that wasn't just one tiny step - that was a giant leap of faith. But his Roman was there to catch him. There first kiss was so beautiful, and you could feel Seth become whole. And yes, his life (and Roman's) has just begun.

The idea to make each chapter from another POV was great. And that last chapter topped it all. So beautiful. Though the chapter before already gave the 'ending' away. It was like standing there and watching them and I was praying for Roman to kiss Seth :)

What a wonderful conclusion to an extremely well written fic. I loved how you described Seth's emotions. I felt as though I was right there with him especially when Dean blurted out that everyone knew. I felt his embarrassment and shame.

I also loved how you went into his head while they kissed. It was simply sublime. Well done!
