Happy to hear you're still around! Re-read both stories a few weeks ago or so, would be fantastic to read the complete story but if it doesn't get completed it will still be among my favourites by how it grabs at your feelings. When Mephisto played Shiro I could really feel a pitch black pit in my stomach, felt as sickening as one would imagine for Shiro. It's amazing how your writing touch the reader.

I'm glad to see you're still alive. I've missed your stories. You're one of the few authors I always look forward to seeing an update from. I love how you would research real historical events and incorporate them into your story. It takes real talent and dedication from someone who will not gain much by doing so. I still think you could publish your work and make money out of it. I would definitely buy. I really do hope things get better for you. I don't know what you're going through, but maybe you just need to change your environment and restart a new to progress forward. Not that I'm trying to tell what to do, but I've found it has helped me. Even if you never finish this story, I'll be happy with what you have presented to us. Now I'll be be off re-reading your work.

Oooh, that sweet, sweet tension between Shiro and Luka. Look forward to seeing that resolve. You've well conveyed the sense of displacement that comes with moving to a new place. Say, have you ever thought about demons being affected differently because of different rituals from diffirent cultures/religions? It may make for an interesting situation.

Can I just say your command of rhyme and meter leaves me in awe? I also appreciated that little nod to Mephisto's tendency to break the 4th wall and speak directly to the audience, lol. I'm not sure if that was what you intended but I'm pretending his bouts of spontaneous verse was meant for more than just Shiro's listening pleasure, because I quite enjoyed it! As always.
