I have to say my heart leapt when I saw that you had written a Ladyhawke fic. I know you probably won't get back to finish it, and I understand, but what was written of it was exquisite! Do you know what a talented writer you are? Have you gone on to write for a living and that's why this remains unfinished? I hope so!

This is a particularly interesting and unusual take on 'what happens next' for all three of the main players – and you did a really good job of keeping the bright wonder of Ysabeau and Navarre together (at last) without losing track of Mouse in the process. He and Navarre always did have a prickly relationship, and there was a lot more implicit friendship than explicit recognition of same – which might very well lead to misunderstandings.

You have a light, sure touch with Mouse – his voice (and most especially his conversations with God) are so in character that they're almost audible to the reader, and a pleasure to read.

I'd very much like to see more of this (muses allowing) – especially since the stopping point could be kinder... (though it was a really excellent last line :-).

I know that you haven't updated this for a while, but I'm going to ask anyway. Please, please, please, please, update this story! I really like it. It's moving and I want to see how the relationship between Mouse and the others develops and how he comes to accept them as family.

This is such a great story! You have Mouse's voice down perfectly, and I love how you're bringing all four of the main characters together as family.
