Good story

Aw man, Harry is unutterably sweet. Love how you portrayed Dumbledore. He really, truly did not think things through or with a mindset in the here and now, but he truly did not make decisions that were out to puppeteer, either. Loved how Harry's innocent (and panicked) babbling would catch Dumbledore by surprise and throw him for a loop and turn his world upside down.

ah. dumbledores mentality here is suprising but , as much as i love him being potrayed as a manipulative coot, this is nice too

This was an incredible fic! This is actually the first fanfic I ever read. Back then you only had up to chapter 6. I unfortunately forgot the name of the fic (I made my account soon after) and I spent years searching for it. I finally found it on Google and it's better than I remembered. Thank you so much for this fic. It's thanks to you that I really got into fanfiction and created my account. So Thank you SnowWhiteOwl for making my life richer.

I really liked how you tied things together and had the adults do what adults should do (take care of adult problems). And them paying their respects to the 'baby' was perfect.

Oh my gosh! You made me cry. This chapter is so powerful and the emotions! Poor Harry ... And Lily seeing this and actually expressing the emotions of a heartbroken mother for her child. Ah!

I guess all of the pieces are eventually destroyed and Voldemort is well and truly ended? I certainly hope so. Harry is an interesting little kid, wanting to visit the Horcrux grave regularly and leave flowers.

I'm glad Harry finally got away from the Dursleys. No living being not named Dursley should have to stay with them. I'm also glad Harry has begun to explore friendships with the other Gryff boys in his year. Ron is too high-maintenance for an "only" friend; such people are exhausting, because one must always tiptoe around on eggshells with them. Maybe next year, Harry can reach out to kids in other houses. I hope the rough part of his life is over and it's good from now on.

OMG! I about died laughing. Candy is the name of his elf? HeHeHe!

I hope Dumbledore convinces Harry to send the "body" through the Veil. That is much safer than burying it, IMHO. Too many weird rituals use exhumed bodies, as we saw in GoF. BTW, what about Quirrell? He's still a threat.

Snape's comment gives me hope that maybe the "baby" was the Horcrux, and it is now out of Harry and dead.

I love both Amelia and Minerva! Both seem to have very strong "BS detectors" that go wild when Dumbledore's eyes start twinkling. They know he's starting to "shovel it," and neither one is hesitant to tell him to knock it off. I love it when he's just getting wound up with his "I'm older and know best, so leave it to me" routine, and Amelia cuts across him with "Can it, Albus!"

Gran Longbottom is another one who can put him in his place. Both Amelia and Augusta are very underused in the books, but fanfic has made them two of my favorite characters.
