Hilarious title, hilarious story. :) I've never gotten a hangover, but Valar help me if my first is anything like Aragorn's! I enjoyed this very much, and thank you for writing it.

This was delightful. It's good to see a less disciplined, more "regular guy" Aragorn. And if any would understand and be amused rather than offended, it's the Rohirrim.

Marvellous - could we please have some more stories on Aragorn's time in Rohan and Gondor? It's just so hard to find stuff from then - particularly Rohan. :)

Funny but still thoughtful. I really liked it. I love seeing canon characters interacting in the past and I especially like good Thorongil stories. I wonder how Aragorn would have felt seeing Theoden as an old man. The long life thing is really strange and interesting in its repercussions. Theoden's portrayal was accurate I thought, especially the bemused so practical childrens logic.

Aha, that was great. I think you hit the perfect balance of Aragorn being foolish, yet perfectly in character.

Aragorn deserves a chance to let loose. Good story.

That was ssssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooo awesomely funny and astute. You have such a marvelous way of telling a story. I loved that he was "simply Thorongil, the man who'd shot a boar." A bit less pressure to be "perfect."

Enjoyed it much...though I can think of two woodelves in particular that had the impulse to drink to stupor...at least till they fell asleep :D...but they may not be the norm.

I never know where to leave reviews so this time, since it's a gift, I'll leave one EVERYWHERE), I love this funny tale. And I love that little Theoden is already showing the wisdom of a king: why *didn't* you stop, Thorongil? And then, bang, there's the sudden poignancy you are so good at putting in your stories: here in Rohan, Thorongil is just a man who shot a boar. Excellent!
