I love the beginning the most, not very many stories explore Phoenix and Trucy immediately following him being disbarred. The part with him berating himself and struggling to come to terms with he new situation was very emotional and well done.

Then suddenly IRIS!

Overall, great story. I really think it has the potential to be something bigger. Look forward to more!

I would like to say good job with portraying Phoenix's emotions well-especially the scene where he releases his pent-up feelings on his loss of duty.

I enjoyed that! Nice job! I really liked how you wrote the inner turmoil that Phoenix was going through in the beginning. It added some nice depth. I also really liked the pep-talk that Iris gave to Phoenix. I'm not going to deny it though, I felt a little bad for Edgeworth at the end... Seeing two people kiss is just too much for that poor man! :)

I like this story because I love the pairing. Hopefully Iris will be back in future installments, the kids at the Wright Anything Agency need a new mommy, to paraphrase Trucy.

"If he saw another coffee cup again it would probably be too soon." Is Phoenix remembering the time that Godot threw his coffee at his head? That's a pretty funny reference!

This was a nice, emotional one-shot and I love seeing Iris with Phoenix, a pairing that sadly doesn't get enough recognition.

I really love this story. Near the end, you forgot to capitalize Phoenix at one point, but that's no biggie. I liked Trucy at the end. Didn't expect Phoenix to break out at her like that though. Anyways, I liked this story. Really good for your first fic. I hope to see more from you!

I really liked this. It's a good first story. Tword the end you kept forgetting to capitalize Phoenix, but that's prpbably the only thing grammar-wise. I though the ending was pretty funny with Trucy. The story's pretty serious until that happened. Anyways, good job. I hope to see more from you in the future.
