Donahue is finally dead! I just wish it was Doc who had ended that scumbags miserable existence.

So far this is a wonderful chapter! No one is out-of-character, the tone, from what I can tell, starts out light but will descend to darkness; the setting fits perfectly well, and the plot of Lightning's "evil father" is twisted enough to not make it uninteresting. Your writing style is beautiful and descriptive, figurative language added for additional effects.
I can't wait to see how this will turn out!
