This is exactly what I needed. It's really great to read a fic that touches on issues that self harmers face, but isn't super dark or angsty.

Cute little oneshot, it's honestly nice seeing Anderson and Donovan on Sherly's side for once (and I think I detected some papa Lestrade in there~!).

They are not weakness, because the scars mean that you've stopped. If it was scabs then yes, it would be a weakness. But they're not.

I really think both her and Anderson would drop a criminal in his wake for Sherlock. Anderson as of the current season 3 - is a Sherlock fan. Donovan had that bank robbery scene where Sherlock called Lastrade for a question regarding John's wedding, making miss out on a career making crime bust. I think Donovan is still not a fan, but definitely a believer in Sherlock's abilities. All that to say, excellent story, and I could see this scene occurring in the cannon with or without the scars.

Good story. Very well written. John's right, scars aren't weakness. They're strength. They mean that you made it and you're stronger because of it.
