This was written so so so so well with a such a fantastic balance of elements. And ughh that molasses slow relationship build was utterly delicious... Yes wonderful brilliant story!

Coffee shop romance is so clinche that I didn't even know WHY I was reading this, but I totally loved it! Finished this in a couple of hours (effectively staying up till 1 a.m for it then loading up some other story and starting to read, So yay me).
Anyway, glad to see this has a sequel! Can't wait to check it out!

Thank you. Thank you so much. It has it all - pain, love, loss, romance, humor... This story is filled with every single thing I could have hoped and dreamed for, and MY GOD THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY! All of the relationships are fantastic - I've never really shipped Jack and Donna, but they do make a good couple. Perfect amount of angst, which leaves me once again considering you fanfiction writers - WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US. It's a love/hate relationship with you guys. Also, before I go, one more thing: "Stick," and "Red?" I can die happy.

I don't understand why so many people ragged on Rose in your reviews, because honestly? Everyone but Tony seems extremely self-centered and egotistical, lol. While I feel like I dislike all these characters, Donna and everyone being pissed Rose needs to get away for a few days and 'searching' for het like she's a damn list puppy or something?, Rose bullying Jack into letting het read John's book and Jack just giving it over, Martha for being way too over-protective, and just everyone being horrible people. But that's also why I like it. I won't let, these people really are just, beyond self-centered and demanding and everything else, but they're real. Yeah, I honestly have wanted to reach through the screen and shake them all, each and every time I've read this. All...four? Yeah, up to four by now. So while this may seem like I am complaining about your story, I'm complaining that the characters that you have made and described are just so vivid and real. Thank you for an AU where it's more than just renaming established characters, or inserting into well-known tropes.

...even if they annoy me quite a bit sometimes. But your fluff more than makes up for it!

You know, right now I could just start complaining! So very close, but nope no satisfaction here, they had to be interrupted... but anyways. Love the story!
