Shadow Thorn6 chapter 5 . 11/2/2019 This story is amazing and I hope you eventually update it it is absorbing and I spent hours trying to figure out what might happen because I had to know thank you again for a amazing story |
MysticRising chapter 1 . 9/20/2019 Aww. Im sad harry felt guilt for beating dudsley. He totally deserved it, and killing his family in his rage would have been good as well. They were bastards who abused a kid and with harry's experiences it would totally be a good route. Then dumbledore can deal with the problems. Man I'm hating that guy more and more. That said, he's schizophrenic and needs to be locked up. And why is shirou so obnoxious?! NOOOOOO! SHIROU! |
Guest chapter 5 . 8/19/2019 this fanfic continues to suprise me with just how good it is :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/19/2019 ok WOW not what I expected in a very good way :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/7/2019 Um. How exactly does Harry, who grew up with no access to technology (Dudley has a computer, but Harry was always babysat by Mrs. Figgs whenever the Dursleys were away) play a pornographic video game that has tons of graphic violence and sex when he's 7? And he manages to download and play them at school after hours? Firstly, is this teacher an idiot? Did they literally never check on the boy once during what must have taken hours and hours of the game? They didn't disapprove of the fact that Harry was using the computers for gaming, or think to look up what this new program he downloaded on the computer was? (and wouldn't most school computers prevent downloading anything?). Secondly, Dursleys hate the idea of Harry being happy, and canonically tried very hard to limit access to information for Harry (even yelling at him when he talk about a flying motorcycle from a dream). Do they really seem like the type of people who'd be cool with Harry getting access to the internet? Third, if he signed onto a generic account, how is his progress being saved? Either games are not ones that can be completed in an hour. Fourth, 7 year olds simply do not have the reading comprehension to even understand half of the words in the game, so unless somehow Harry became a genius, it seems rather ridiculous to think he can even understand what's happening. Honestly, I'm curious as to why you decided to keep it so that the visual novels were video games. Why not make it so that these games were actual novels instead? At least him finding books and reading them in secret makes some semblance of sense. I also find the conclusions drawn from Harry having access to these games to be dubious. A 7 year old plays 1 video game and begins to adopt a grey vs grey morality system? Give me a break. Kids have serious difficulty seeing the world as anything other than black and white, but a single game convinces him? Honestly, the most realistic scenario is that he's massively traumatized by seeing a bunch of pretty gruesome deaths, and the sex scenes mostly go over his head. Believing in magic from playing Tsukihime is pretty much the equivalent of waving a stick around pretending to be a wizard because you read Harry Potter. And remember, wizards can't do wandless magic for the most part (only the most talented wizards can do so, and even then it's only if they already know the spell they want to cast), so a complete novice like Harry figuring out 'a couple of generic spells' is basically akin to a 7 year old writing a 'couple of masters theses' on physics. Though accidental magic is wandless, it requires very strong emotional stimuli, and are not specific in their effects nor are they consistent. Hell, what makes Harry so special? He had a visual novel to spark his imagination, but he did not have a wand, any teaching or instruction, nor does he have a particularly powerful magic. Why don't all the other kids (especially magical born) have tons of spells they can cast before coming to Hogwarts? I'm sorry, but this fic just has too many things that don't make any sense, and fails to understand basics of regular human behavior, as well as the basic rules of the universe the author is attempting to write a fanfiction for. It's built atop contrivances upon contrivances to make a ridiculous scenario that leads to a nonsensical outcome that seems forced by the author's desire to make Harry impossibly hyper-competent. Honestly, the summary of the story does not fill me with much hope either. Why does giving harry the visual novels make more dark lords (even if harry becomes one, "more than you can shake a stick at" implies many)? Why does it lead to vampires doing things (who were barely in the original novels)? Did the church even exist in Harry Potter universe? It honestly looks like a half-baked idea for an alternate universe. |
LuBu081 chapter 2 . 7/5/2019 yep, that wand scene is definitely showing the corruption and inspiration you received from Shinji and Warhammer 40K. I'm only at around 32-ish chapter. |
doubledamn chapter 3 . 3/1/2019 Fuyuki City as a mindscape? Angra Mainyu or Zouken as the representation of the Horcrux? |
doubledamn chapter 2 . 3/1/2019 Humanities Bound Arrogance? Makes sense, though technically you call a lantern the same thing, if you follow the Prometheus myth anyway, we caged the Fire of the Gods and used it to light our path away from their rule. Of course, an argument could be made in these types of worlds that the 'Fire' was in fact 'Magic'. Interesting fact though, when I plugged that name into a translator, I got 'The End of Human Pride'. |
doubledamn chapter 1 . 3/1/2019 Wow. You know you've got something good when you forget it was all one chapter. |
pwtcmcneil chapter 2 . 2/12/2019 oh dear god, the poor idiot who tries ligilimency on him |
Arsenal chapter 4 . 9/13/2018 I Truly truly wanted to give this fic a chance. It's got more than a thousand follows, so there must be something good about it. But, alas, there is none. Your Harry is an IDIOT. he is so much of an idiot that his actions are too stupid for words. |
Arsenal chapter 1 . 9/13/2018 I keep hoping for Harry's life to get better. It was a simple wish, born from seeing him so miserable and wanting better for him. But no, you don't want that. Your story has no redeeming qualities. All you want is for him to suffer. You know what's a good crossover? Something you failed to achieve? Fate's Gamble. Read that and see how yours is a speck of dust in comparison. |
KingOfEternity chapter 3 . 8/29/2018 its a shame the discs broke in chapter one he could've watched the scenes he skipped when he is older~ |
KingOfEternity chapter 2 . 8/29/2018 that wand scene was very ridiculous. |
KingOfEternity chapter 1 . 8/29/2018 He should've killed him. |
