I love the view of what the others were doing when SHIELD fell. Happy going to fetch Banner. "Please don't squish him." Poor Clint freaking out every time he's sees his life's work crashing like helicarriers. And, yay, Woo's still alive. Boo, Hydra has control in Queens.

Yeah, Fox would not have called reports of HYDRA "hysteria". They would have been digging into everything they had on HYDRA and presenting possibilities. It would be CNN who would call the reports "hysteria", and asking people to "listen to the voice of reason" while spouting HYDRA mis-information.

Really tired of Clint acting like a high-school girl when Tony and Pepper flirt. The man is not a virgin, nor is he naive. (insert really rather impressive eye-roll here)

Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering why Clint can't seem to be able to handle a little innuendo between Tony and Pepper. He's a grown frikking man, ex-Army sniper, ex-freelance assassin, but when Tony and Pepper start flirting, he regresses into an eight year-old: 'Eww, gross, stop it!"

I have to admit here i have yet to see Captain America: the Winter Soldier. Are we seeing the downfall of SHIELD from within by HYDRA?

Ooh, this is so well-done. I can't stop reading, thought it's nearly midnight. But I have to. Well, just one more chapter.

I can see standing on the balcony railing bare-footed, because then one could use one's toes to grip. But in socks? Not.

I love the way you've written the characters here. Very well done! I can hear them saying the dialogue you've written in their movie voices. The way you've gotten into their heads and shown their private thoughts is also very well done.
