This story takes place in an alternate universe where Professor Layton hadn't mysteriously disappeared and actually spends time with his kids. The story mainly focuses on Inspector Alfendi Layton and the memories he shared with his biological older brother, Samuel Layton. These memories go from childhood to Sam’s unfortunate passing and Alfendi’s grieving process afterwards.
