Perhaps that is not always the best thing, as sometimes things refuse to remain buried. Now, it will be the descendant of the Dynast-King that learns that lesson in his stead. Three years since the Sky Battle, peace was finally reigning over all or was it? Vaan and Penelo returned to Rabanastre. There they found Larsa invited by a letter, but the inviter did not show up. In haste to reunite with his friend, Larsa asked them for shelter. A lick and a promise, and they let he move into their house, unknowing the scheme laying the seem-harmless decision.

Fran seems untouchable, as most viera do. But she is as much a knight as Basch, a pirate as Balthier; she knows the burden of responsibility as Ashe does. And in ways she tries to bury, she is as much an orphan as Penelo and Vaan. The Wood wishes her to ignore the humes; she will instead embrace them and take the steps toward intimacy that they are too hesitant to take toward her.

Penelo trained herself to be a thief, stealing jewelry and silver from the rich folks. This was her biggest hit yet, the Palace itself.

Fran was considered a lost cause by her family. She left, knowing they would not accept her with welcome arms. However, a quiet moment in the Golmore Jungle revealed that the Wood would always consider her its' daughter.

She longed for adventure, missed the every day thrill. She enjoyed helping people get bak on their feet after the war, but going from meeting to meeting was boring. Perhaps it was due time to spend time outside and travel again.

It was a song that told of war, of lives lost and families torn apart. Of sons losing their futures and men fighting for others futures.

Ashe finally falls fully in love with Rasler and kisses him not because she's expected to, but because she wants to. A kissing prompt from Tumblr. FFXII and Revenant Wings. A "Rasler lives AU". Somewhat inspired by the FFXII manga, that expands on Ashe and Rasler more. Drabble.

Set after the events of FF XII, Ashe gets some life changing news, Balthier learns of yet another brewing war in Ivalice and Vaan wants to start his apprenticeship. Once again the party must band together in order to vanquish a new enemy that threatens the future of Dalmasca. Balthier/Ashe pairing with some eventual Balthier/Fran.

Ashe explores her inheritance and her losses, and at the end of the day there's only one she'd prefer to call her own. Post-game drama.

Ashe's world is crumbling around her and she has to pick up the pieces. While trying to liberate her country, she grieves for a husband who was taken from her too soon. Little does she know a sky pirate is just the one to help her forget.

A retelling of Final Fantasy XII without Vaan. This is a rewrite of a novelization I finished years ago, so expect several other creative liberties as well.
