A vengeful Scar, after losing his grip over the Pride Lands, forms an allegiance with the Outsiders, an infamous and highly dangerous group of rogue lions. When Mufasa, against all the odds, survives the fall during the stampede, Scar's final attempt to avoid exile and become King is to hold Simba as a hostage. This is a major re-write of my most popular story to date, and this remastered version promises to be longer, more detailed and more emotional than the original draft ever was.

I remember reading somewhere that an early concept for Mufasa's death was for him to save Simba from a flood instead of a wildebeest stampede. This is my take on how it could have been different. This is a short, two part story.

AU Mufasa barely survives the fall, and is rescued by a pride of wandering lions. But when he awakes, he can't remember who he is! And Mufasa is just beginning to adapt to his new life with the pride when he comes across a cub who calls himself Simba..

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Simba's Pride, I wrote a spoof. Act IV: Simba apologizes to Kovu for the whole banishment thing, and Vitani promises never to commit arson again. Disney loves sappy endings!

Evil lies in the eye of the beholder. When Simba chooses to bring Kovu to the Pride Lands, the young Outsider's world is thrown into chaos. What if the Pride had met up with Simba and Nala before they got home? What if Simba had more time to talk with Sarabi before he fought Scar? What would their conversation be like? What advice might she give him? AU. Sequel to For Freedom

What if Mufasa had gone to check on Taka after the young prince had been forever scarred by Boma the Cape Buffalo? How could one small conversation forever change life in the Pridelands?

When Zira offered Kovu as her "pound of flesh" to Simba, what if Simba had actually taken him? Not to harm him, but to protect him from Zira's brutality and give him a free life in his kingdom. How would this have affected the course of everything? Would Kovu's life change for better or for worse? And most urgently, how would the Outsiders themselves respond to such a sudden move?

What will happen when Simba decides to punish Kovu for being in the pridelands, let alone with Kiara? What will happen when Nala gets exiled for trying to save Kovu? Now she has to raise an Outlander cub with the threat of Simba and Zira lurking in the shadows. Will she be able to save hers and Kovu's lives? Or will she be leading them straight to death?

(AU) Scar manages to throw Simba to his death at the end of the movie. But before he falls into his doom, he wakes up as a cub with his adult memories. Now he must find a way to stop his evil uncle and save Mufasa from his death before it's too late. Will he succeed?

AU: In an alternate universe, Kiara had managed to grab Zira's paw and pull her to safety. Now the former Outlander queen is left without anyone to turn to except for her savior. Determined not to leave the lioness in the pain and suffering of the past, Kiara now takes it upon herself to see to that Zira finds the redemption and peace she so needs.

AU SP: Zira knew of her king's harsh and tyrannical ways, to her and to their son, but she never knew that she would see the day when light would return back into their lives until the true king returned, but will her nephew help to show her how to accept her life now? Set where Zira and the Outlanders were never exiled and Nuka, Kovu and Vitani are to be raised in the Pridelands.

This fic is the result of the author listening to the deleted Lion King song, "Chow Down", for the past few hours and then thinking about Nala might feel bad for them about her mother killing their dad.

For those of you who were disappointed that this episode lacked a few things that would had made it so much better, I hope this makes you feel better! This is the episode "Kupatana Celebration" rewritten with some added/altered parts!
