Of course, her kids, grandkids, the vampires, and weres all have opinions on her choices. Maybe even a goddess or fairy opine. Chaos, calamity, and some fun ensue—and romance. My Entry for Seph's Writing Challenge. After the death of the last remaining Stackhouse, Sookie gives up her life in Bon Temps and goes to the Fae with Claudine. But that was not the family she was looking for. Battered, abused and even more lost than she was, Sookie attempts an escape and literally falls into the arms of more trouble than she was prepared for.

This is a post-canon world. It begins around 50 years after Sam and Sookie's wedding, and about a week after Sam's death. Niall grants Sookie a new fairy gift that upends her life and brings some old faces back into her life. I'm a sucker for doomed romances. Hence I'm a sucker for Sookie and her former fanged beaux. Here's to a "reborn" happily ever after.

Set after Dead to the World. The Witch War is over, Hallow defeated and Jason found. But things aren't back to normal for the Stackhouses. Sookie has more secrets than ever, including a huge one about Eric. Jason has a new furry skin, and his new girl is trouble with a capital T. Then Claudine's presence in Sookie's life brings another fairy sniffing around Bon Temps.

Sookie used the cluviel dor to become a powerful supernatural being in her own right, so she could protect herself and her loved ones and stay with Eric forever. Will it be enough to combat all the forces trying to tear them apart?

What if Sookie had been more creative in thinking about the possibilities presented by the cluviel dor? What if she'd used it just prior to Jannalynn's trial to make herself powerful enough to protect herself and her loved ones? She could've saved Sam's life and still kept Eric. Becoming a vampire wasn't the key to her happy ever after, but neither was remaining a weak human.

This is the series I wrote because I couldn't accept the ending of the original series. Taking place shortly following Dead Ever After, Sookie is trying to move on with her 'normal life', but nothing goes as planned when an enemy of an old friend shows up.
