Done as an assignment for school. Post-Bruno's death and leaving the camp. Partial Kotler/Maria, mostly just an exposition for the sake of doing it on a dime and a dare.

That morning, Maria had predicted a rainy day. Not that I cared anyway. I felt determined to go outside and meet my friend Shmuel, to help him find his dad. I needed to do it before we left, I couldn't fail my friend again. T for being Holocaust-themed.

When Schmuel and Bruno were in the Gas Room, what was Schmuel thinking?

My class finished reading this and we had to come up with an alternative ending. Most of them all ended with Bruno and Shmuel escaping and running away. Mine's different.It had to start from when Bruno went over to the other side of the fenece.
