I am an English book as a beta reader; I can't stand misspelt words, so I'll usually handle those. Some of these stories look like they were written by five year olds, am I right? What? Oh, you're asking for my PLOT ability? Well, I'm not the best, but I'm still good...I have some plot skills. Some. My expectations for you are to have a half-descent sense of your borrowed character's personality. I can't stand OOC-ness...an OOC Ness? PFFFFFFFT-You know what I mean :3.

I can pick out misspelt words, with or without the red lining, as well as punctuation and capitalization errors. I do well in dragging out a story-you know, filler chapters so it doesn't seem to last five minutes.

I am awful at OCs without a cheat sheet of some sort. Just awful. That and I don't curse, usually resorting to 'Nether' or 'bloody'. I'd like to say I have short term memory loss plot-wise; if you don't have it planned out, I'm going to ask you about the next chapter's events every FIVE BLOODY MINUTES via PM. (case of bad cursing in point...)

COMEDY! ACTION! ADVENTURE! The kinds of fics they make those dramatic 'In a world...' previews with the fade-to-black effect! ...or something like that, anyway! I also prefer the kinds of fics nobody else makes, like how SSB came to be or a single Pokemon's epic quest or...or something!

I don't do romance. It's not that I don't like it, its just that I'm more of an action kind of person. Parodies aren't my first choice, though I will read one once every millennia. No horror, either, the world is bad enough as it is. NO YAOI. YAORI. HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT. NONE.
