I am a university student at the moment, with a major in Literature. I have done courses and classes to help me improve my writing skills, and I would be honored to pass down my knowledge to anyone who would like it.

I am a reader that enjoys stories of a length longer than two syllables. I find stories that jump around a lot confusing, so if you're going to submit something to me, please try and make it as smooth as possible so that I can follow it without too much difficultly, and any story without some attempt of good grammar isn't something that I really want to read.

I generally read stories that are of a decent length, a thousand words or more. I'm a quick reader and I will get back to you within a few days, however, it should be said that occasionally life gets in the way. I am a working student and therefore work and university come first. I will do my utmost to get back to you as quickly as possible.

I am good at picking up on the little things that most don't. Incorrect use of a word in a sentence or the wrong type of 'practice'. I'm a grammar nazi and am very good at picking out where full stops, commas, etc. should or should not go.

I'm pretty good at picking up plot slips or things that don't seem right and can suggest some ways of working through what could appear as a writer trying to break out of writers block (I've been there. I know the feeling, and I have some good tips now).

As far as interesting writing goes, I'm your girl. If a story doesn't grab my attention almost straight away, I won't generally read through to it's conclusion, just like most people, so if you're worried about anything like that, I can help you beef up your story or give you some idea of making it more exciting in the first few minutes of reading so that people will continue reading.

I confess that I do get slightly bored when looking at large blocks of writing. If a paragraph is twenty lines, I tend to skip over it a little and only half read it, so I may miss some errors within the paragraph. If you don't want this to happen, please see if you can at least separate the paragraph somewhere.

I also tend not to be great with ideas for story lines, etc. I can spend hours thinking up a single story line for my own work, only to find that it wasn't what I had actually wanted, and having to start all over again. If you need help with story lines, I'm probably not the person for you.

I don't have preferences. Happy to read slash fics of any sort hetero or homo, and don't mind original characters either. If you've got half a brain and you can write a decent fic, I'll read it.

I will not beta anything that is not in English, and I would prefer not to beta anything futuristic. It's not my style and I don't enjoy the predictions of what the world will be like years from now. Mpregs are a special kind of hell for me, but I must confess that there have been one or two that I have enjoyed, so feel free to send them to me, but please don't be insulted if I say they're just not for me.
