Hello, I am DayDreamer95, and I have chosen to become a betareader because I believe that I can help aspiring authors like you become better writers. I may not have a lot of experience with this - I'm just starting out as an actual betareader - but I hope to do my best. I am naturally very critical of spelling/grammatical errors, but tend to be more lax with the actual writing style itself, because I'd like people to explore a little and create their own unique style. As long as your writing contains nothing inappropriate (no M-rated fics!), I'd be glad to help you out. All that I ask of you is that you don't underestimate my betareading abilities just because I'm only 16 years old. That's right, I'm 16, but I can write with the best of them! So I just ask that you take me seriously as a betareader. That is all I have to say, and I wish you luck on your writing!

My best areas are checking for spelling and grammatical errors. My brain seems naturally hardwired to seek out those kinds of errors, and not one can escape my keen eyes. I'm also great at keeping characters in character, and I can thoroughly characterize an original character so that they don't detract from the fic. So I guess you can say I'm pretty good at characterization. I have a large vocabulary, which translates to great descriptive detail. So, in addition to syntax and characterization, description and details is also my strong point.

My plotlines could be a little more involved, so I suppose I'm not that great at fabricating complex storylines. And sometimes I end up creating inconsistencies in my writing, which is no good at all. So, if I get confused reading your story and trying to comprehend the plot, I apologize in advance.

I really like the emotional scenes of tragedies and dramas. I also prefer comedy and/or romance, and I'll even do a few parodies once in a while. But I'll have to say my absolute favorite is a nice, emotionally charged, romantic drama with a sprinkle of action. But I can be funny when I want to. I do enjoy a good comedy, humor-type fic. I'm really a Jill of all trades, though. I'm willing to do most anything! ...As long as it's appropriate.

I'm not really into gory horror stories or confusing and (let's face it) boring mysteries. And yes, I'll do romance, but NO lemon fics. I can not, will not do a lemon fic. It's just not in my nature, and I'm too young, besides! Other than that, if it's nothing too inappropriate, I'm fine with what you want to do.
