I've been writing for 6 months now and given the sterling service that my own beta readers give me, I twanted to 'pass it forward' by offering my own services to others.br /

I am happy to proof read, discuss and help flesh out ideas, spot mistakes or discrepancies in the plot and generally help out on every front other than your grammar. I do not consider myself profficient enough in that arena to offer my services, however, should I spot something obvious, I will certainly ensure to point it out. br /

I am very forthright so if you would like for me to be your beta, you must be an individual that is able to take constructive criticism. I'll praise your hard work as much as I will offer any feedback on where it can be improved but I firmly believe my role should be to help you improve your writing, which rarely occurs through only positive feedback. Having said that, I will also endeavour to be your number one fan and I will work extremely hard to help you improve your piece in any way.br /

I live in the UK so if you are an individual who likes to chat through IM, please take note of our time difference. I have a full time job but I will dedicate the hours outside of that to chatting where it suits you. (if possible)br /

My key strengths are that I read a lot of fan fiction so I have a good idea about what flows and what does not. I have a keen eye for details so if you have two different colour dresses in the same day and don't mention an outfit change, I'll pick that up. I am also fairly analytical so plot holes or dscrepancies will be picked up on. My muse is slightly crazy (and I am a pretty good bullshitter) which tends to help if you are stuck for a transition, need an idea fleshed out or just want to brainstorm back and forth on improving a concept.

I also read several fandoms only so I may not be familiar with the plot of yours.br /

I am also very honest so if you just want a constant pat on the back, you won't get that from me.I travel away for business now and then so there will be little spells where I might not be able to dedicate as many hours a day to beta reading, however, I'll always let you know if that's the case.
