As a beta, I aim to correct small errors that detract from potentially good stories. Any authors that want me to look at their work should know that I'm very tough on spelling and grammar (Grammarina has actually become a personal nickname of mine!) but I try not to change the original story too much.br /br /

Also, If I don't know the story well I probably can't help as much as I'd like, but I can still greatly improve the original product.

I'm very good at picking up small errors such as minor spelling mistakes, past/present tense confusion, punctuation mistakes, sentence structure, and common/proper noun confusion.

I'm not brilliant with storyline errors - I always stick to the original plots and pairings if I can, so if the story is too different I probably won't be as much use as a Beta who knows the story well.

I prefer romance stories - the sections I look at most are Movies, Books, and Anime (sometimes TV Shows as well). I am generally open to most types of story. Oneshots would be my top choice, but I'm open to longer stories.

I don't like extremely long stories - going above about 30 chapters is a drag for me unless the story is particularly fantastic. I don't really like stories with overly gory, depressing plots (character deaths really annoy me), and while I do like romances, abusive stories are not fun to read.br /br /

Fluff is great (I love the stuff!) but if I'm going to correct it make sure that it isn't too aimless or else I won't be much help.
