I have been writing since the fourth grade, and take great joy in it. I'd like to think I'm pretty good at it. Patience is necessary if you want me to be your BETA. Also, if I say something that could be taken as negative, or something you don't want to hear, too bad. I'm trying to help you, deal with it.

Coherency, flow, and functionality. I am rather good at helping with sentence length variation, word smithing, and ensuring that the way something is written sounds good to the reader. (Even if there is a little grammatical fudging...) Description is another forte of mine. Shaping out a setting, or the appearance of a character, or the energy in the air, I can do that.

Even in my own writings I tend to be loose with my grammatical structure. So if you want a strict review of your syntactical techniques, you're probably better off turning to someone else. Also spelling, I would die without spell check. :( My Dialog skills aren't bad, but they are not that great either. Lastly, I have commitment issues.^^; It would probably be best for you to request that I read one shots.

I would probably be more inclined to beta read stories that involve pairings from the list on my profile. Not saying I won't read anything else or enjoy anything else, just that I would be particularity excited to help with a story that pique my romantic interest.

Stories with explicit, sexual imagery. If there is an intimate relationship between two characters in your story, make it tasteful please. I don't want to critique lemons or smut. Excessive vulgar language is out. If you're having a character drop the F bomb every other sentence, I'm not reading your story. A little language, understandable, but I find using those words only shows that your vocabulary is meager. There are certain parings I would almost certainly not read for. Call it biased, because it is. I'll say this one ahead of time, I will not beta read for any Invader Zim couples other than ZADR, TAGR, and RAPR. Just wont do it. Sorry, go find another reader. Also, no Kakashi pairings. And lastly, no Saiyuki fics.
