i am new at beta-reading, but i am an "eager-beaver" to say the least...i am quite a good correcter, and wish to pursue a job as an editor, thus me believing this to be a good starting step into that career. i am ok with any sort of style, all i ask is that if you want me to beta-read something of yours, i would really appreciate just a link to the story if you have posted previous chapters and/or a quick summary of the storyline...also, if you woul like, my computer has tracking changes ability, which allows all the changes i made in the document to show up in red with a sidenote, asking you if you would like to accept or decline the change. i use this because i am not you, i am not the one writing the story, so if you feel like a change i made wouldn't fit with what you are going for, you can get rid of it; thus, you are happy as a writer, and i am happy as a beta-reader :)

i excel at spelling, grammar, and word flow. if something does not sound right, or dose not flow properly, i excel at rewording it so it not only flows well, there is also more descriptive language used, if needed.

my weakness is with dialogue. not the actual wording, but the "he responded," "she said," etc. i am getting better at it as i read other people's styles of writing, but i still have a few kinks to work out...also, i seem to be having issues in that i writer 'fro' instead of 'for' hahaha; also, when i type fast, letters tend to get mixed around a bit (sometimes-sorry!)

i really have no preference, if anything i like supernatural, sky high, big time rush, twilight, harry potter, etc., but really, i will beta almost anything :)

i would rather not beta slash...i will, if you would like me to, its just not preferred. sorry! :(
