This may sound a bit desperate: I am willing to beta read for almost anyone and any story. The only things I won't beta read for are at the very bottom. Otherwise, anything is game for me. I'm a fast reader and I enjoy both short and long stories. Don't hesitate to ask me for assistance, even if you only want me to proofread. I'm very flexible and enjoy reading other people's works. Crossovers, alternate universes, even some slightly canon fics with minor changes. I do it all! Well...mostly all. (Again, read the fine print at the bottom. :)

My specialties include: sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, grammar and vocabulary. I’m also an extremely fast reader and when I correct something I tend to make it longer than it already is. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Personally, I think what I put in to the story adds flair. *shrugs* That would be me being arrogant again. :)

Interfering with plot is my main weakness. It’s the author’s story and they should be the ones directing the storyline. If I have ideas for plot then I will not hesitate to inform you but the author shouldn’t have to rely on me. If I had all these great plot ideas then I would be the one writing the story! But hopefully you won’t mind if I give my input on plot occasionally.

Preference? I’ll do anything except for the things below.

I don’t do stories with Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Also, no main character OOCs or self-inserts. (But if it is a complete crackfic that you just need grammar and spelling correction, along with other such things, then I might do it.) Also, while I don’t mind romances I prefer not to beta lemons and such. (Main romances aren’t my favorite things in the world.) Pairings are fine, but I would rather that they weren’t the only thing in the story. I also won’t beta OOC romances unless it is two minor characters and they don’t have much an impact on the story.
