I'm a pretty basic Beta-reader. I am good at grammar, characterization, and plots. I can help you with a lot of stories. I would prefer not to Beta-read extremely short fics (500 words or less) or extremely long fics (over 20,000 words). Also, run spell-check on your computer before sending me anything. I can't stand "text speak" or misspelled words. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible after you send me your stories, but it could be a few days (Sorry! I don't check my email much.) Overall, I can just say that I'm a reader and a writer and I'll try to help you to the best of my ability.

I'm really good at grammar. If you have trouble getting your ideas formed into a good story, I can help there too. I can help figure out where plots need to go, and I can just tell if it's a good fic. And if it's not, then I'll help you turn it into a good one! Also, I'm good at putting in funny parts. I'm good at humor.

I'm not great with keeping other author's characters in-character. I can keep my own characters in-character because I know their personalities like I know them personally, but I'm not good with other people characters. I don't know why.

I love a good romance or humor fic. I'll always be happy to help with one of those.

Non-canon slash fics are just not my favorite. I would prefer not to beta read them. The only exception is in RENT, I will read/edit Mark/Roger because it is practically canon. Also I will refuse to beta read fics with graphic sex scenes, excessive profanity, or violence. Generally anything that could possibly have an M rating.
