I love being able to help other people with their stuff. Not only do I get a sneak peek at what people are writing, I also get to improve other people's stories. I usually tend to zero in on the writing flow and grammar. I'll do my best to get anything sent to me back to the sender within a week, but occasionally I might not return for a couple of weeks, so be patient. So... yeah. That's about it.

Grammar. I love grammar. This is definitely a strong point for me. I'm also good with spelling, syntax, and synonyms. Not to mention alliteration. I am also a dogged researcher who keeps going until she finds what she wants. For example, my story All In the Family takes place in England, but I've never been to any of the places, so I did my homework to ensure the authenticity.

I. Am. Slow. I usually go over stuff a few times before returning it, at least twice, so that I can catch stuff I didn't see the first time. I also am a very busy person, especially during the school year, so if it's a particularly busy week for me and you send something on Monday, I may not even read it until Sunday.

Harry Potter, Alex Rider, and Artemis Fowl are what I usually read, along with some Star Wars, but I'm open to betaing almost anything. Like I said above, I research points in my stories, so if you or I am unsure about something, I can confirm it for you, even if I don't usually do that sort of writing.

I would beta anything, but if you're looking for a way to improve on smut, I'm not the best person to turn to. I'd most certainly do my best, but I can't guarantee anything for that area.
