I'll be honest, I am new at the beta-ing world, but I'm willing to start and help the best I can with whatever is thrown in my direction. I actually have two beta's myself. I'm pretty good at catching spelling mistakes, but my improper grammar spotage doesn't extend far past that. I am good at helping with dialogue, detail, developing plot, and character development. Most importantly, I have patience and the willingness to work with an author until the passage is perfect. I will give constructive criticism and I want the authors that I beta for to actually want help and listen to my thoughts of how to improve, even if they don't necessarily want to hear it. No flames though, I promise. :)

My strengths definitely are within the story's structure. I'm great at helping the plot move along at the right pace. I'm good at writing believable dialogue between two characters, and adding great detail to places that are lacking it.

Weakness = Grammar. Like I said above, I'll catch misspelled words, but if you're worried about commas and clauses than you might want to try someone else. I can catch some obvious grammar problems, but the more complex ones I won't see.

I'll beta anything...if I know the characters. I'll be willing to beta Twilight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Stargate: SG-1 and Atlantis.

I have to have some background information on the characters, otherwise I'll be as lost as the person asking for help.
