Post Reunion. Shion attempts to help Nezumi unwind after a long day at work.

"Well, this is a pleasant surprise," Nezumi said. He swooped into a theatrical bow. "To what do we owe the honor of Your Highness's presence at our humble shop?"

The truth was, when Shion pictured kissing someone, he always fantasized about Nezumi. He dreamed of running his fingers through Nezumi's long hair―soft and silky, Shion knew, because he'd done it once when Nezumi was half-asleep at the breakfast table―and pressing his mouth against Nezumi's the way the Pretties did in his books.

Nezumi told Shion about his nightmares. And Shion…didn't.

Nezumi brushed his thumb along the red scar beneath Shion's eye. "I'm right here."

Karen hates the old child's poem about a "Rat in the Attic". She learns the hard way that she should have paid more attention to it when Sion keeps bringing up a strange visitor that shows up at night.

A rainy night would drape the light of Shion's study lamp, a page coloured flouroscent in it's halo. Shion stood on the same window he'd stood on more than a decade ago, looking outside as if he'd just walk in drenched in rain like that night. "Reuinion will come soon." Nezumi and Shion reunite.

Nezumi had left, leaving behind the lingering warmth of a kiss and a promise that wasn't really a promise. And in the days, weeks and months that had followed, doubts and fears had crept in for both of them, but sometimes those were all you need to guide you home.

(No. 6 AU) Cinderella finally got her wish. With a wave of her fairy godmother's magic wand lizards turned into horsemen and rats into footmen. One "rat" is not very happy at the prospect of being turned into a human to serve a random woman and breaks the rules to wander off during the ball. There he meets the prince and things do not go according to the fairy godmother's plan.

With the navy in close pursuit, Nezumi and Shion try to pass their last hours stranded on a deserted island with some semblance of composure. Nezumi wants Shion to be quiet and let him hate the world. Shion just wants Nezumi to let him bandage his arm. Pirate AU. Valentine's gift for Secretagentfan. Fantasy AU. While Shion and Safu are practicing their magic outside of town, they are interrupted by a procession of border guards. Shion becomes curious about a covered cage they have, and when he thinks he spots a human child inside, he can't help but investigate further.
