It's the year 1900. Starting five months after the strike, David and Lester Jacobs are back in school. But when problems start to happen with the newsies, they know they need to go back and help.

Race has history with Brooklyn. Spot has a history of being a loner. They meet when they're twelve, and the most unlikely friendship between two newsies is born. Thank God they're soulmates, or Spot would have decked Race, Race would have cussed him out, and it would have taken them a whole year longer to become friends. / Spot Conlon and Racetrack Higgins, and their beginning.

In honor of Newsies celebrating 2 years on Broadway, I wrote this to discuss how the Newsies inspired so many people and made an impact in history. Please read, it contains facts about the real Newsies and my feeling on the musical/movie.
