At 37 years old, I have seen a whole lot in my life, and I try to get it written down as quickly as possible before my memory fails me. I lived in Florida all my life, but hating everything about it, I managed to convince this wonderful man to pick up and move quite literally across the country with me. I now reside in Portland, Oregon, and I couldn't be happier.

In terms of writing, I am a very prolific writer. Although it is not what I do professionally--sadly--it is what I do to keep my sanity. I am an English major, I have published a few works in literary magazines, and I am ever working on a fantasy world of my own creation in the hopes of someday getting published. I have been working on my world-building since 15 years of age and I am only now feeling like my writing is mature enough to be of publishable value.

I haven't written much fan fiction, just a bit in my college years, and yes I do have one story here which still picks up fans every now and again. I consider the story to be not very good, but if it amuses people out there, that's great. I keep it up here because it reminds me of my humble beginnings as a writer, and how far I have come. On the other hand, I read stories on this site quite a bit. I feel that 98% of the writing on here is absolute heaving-bosom fangurl trash, but it's discovering the other 2% that keeps me coming back.
