I'm a hurt/comfort slut, which is reflected in my writing. I'm only happy if I can make someone suffer (and get kissed better), which often segues into slash.

I've also been a slasher for all my adult life, starting with Star Trek back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, then moving on to Highlander, Stargate: SG-1, Kindred: the Embraced, and Sherlock Holmes. Speaking of whom, I'm of the considered opinion that Holmes/Watson was the first slash fandom of modern times, which is why poor Watson was saddled with all those alibi wives. The canon is full of gay coding if one takes the trouble to look. Of course, Watson, being the Victorian gentleman that he was, would never have written the explicit stuff, but I'm happy to fill in for him :-)

Recently, I've been infected with the Iron Man bug, which means reading tons of comics, working on a Tony morph in Carrara, and writing a new crossover story. Argh, my mind!

Current Obsession: Iron Man. All I wanted was get a feel for RDJ as an actor (who's going to be Sherlock Holmes this Christmas), so I watched Iron Man, and bam, instant fan.

Current Writing Project: Together with Macko, I'm co-writing "The Prince, The Knight, And The Fool", a novel-length Kindred/Highlander/Stargate SG-1 crossover story. We're at over 180 pages and still work on it sporadically.

Current art project: I do 3D art, mostly homoerotic. If you're of legal age in your area and think you can look at my naked men (i.e. Holmes and Watson) doing the nasty, go to http:///user/elenacalderas/ and make sure you get an account there, otherwise you'll only see the harmless stuff.

If I were a V:tM vampire, I'd be a Nosferatu. Definitely. No two opinions about it. If I were a D&D character, I'd be a rogue Githyanki ranger/fighter. Or a Changeling Rogue with Prestige Class Warshaper. Or a half dragon paladin. Or a Shifter ranger with Prestige Class Weretouched Master. Um. The common theme here seems to be, I'd be anything other than human, and I'd have teeth and claws. Which brings me back to the Nosferatu...

In real life, I'm a middle-aged female with a degree in biology and lots of hobbies and side interests that no one would believe me anyway. In case you're wondering, most people who know me consider me a little out there but mostly sane.
