Day 26: Character You Pity Most - Smeagol

Day 27: Coolest Visual Effects - The character of Smeagol/Gollum, especially in 'The Hobbit'. They were able to make him look so real, down to the emotion in his eyes, that I often overlook the fact that he's even a special effect.

Day 28: Most Inspiring Scene - In 'Return of the King' when Frodo and Sam are struggling up the side of Mount Doom, starving, sleep-deprived and probably severely dehydrated at that point, and Frodo collapses. Sam then holds him and in that moment he starts reflecting on the simplicity of the Shire, and, even in such a desolate time as that, you can see he's always thinking of home, that there's always some beauty to hold onto even at the worst time, even though he's already determined he'll never see home again. And then, of course, in a show of unwavering determination and loyalty, he carries Frodo the rest of the way up the mountain. There's nothing more moving to me than that scene.

I especially enjoy stories revolving around the Slytherins in Harry Potter, Naruto fics that center around Itachi and/or Sasuke, and Espada-centered Bleach fics.
