Hmm... I realized I never updated this profile in all the years I've had this account, guess I'll put something here.

I've always been a fan of anime since I was a kid and like many of you here never grew out of it and continue to appreciate it. Drawn in by the same curiosity around when the internet was something I could regularly access at the time, I was drawn into fan groups and eventually fanfiction for Ranma when it had amassed an amazing subculture during the late 90's and I stumbled onto around 2000. I took a foray into it just for fun, motivated by the idea of being the first to pair up one of my favorite heroines at the time, Kiyone, to Ranma. It turned into an amusing pasttime hobby which eventually turned into a passion for creative writing in general. Over the years I've managed to treat myself with some time to take paid creative writing courses and participate in workshops, start reading a whole lot of books I never would have bothered with before, taking the effort to improve little by little as I've never been outright gifted in anything. It's been a lot of fun and an interesting experience to learn something new.

As an update since the last time since I touched this thing I have been a police officer for the last 13 plus years as of 2012, and as of this yes I am in fact a real Sergeant, SII to be exact. I used to keept a unique correspondence with other cops who are also fic writers as well over the years, among other fic writers in general. Unfortunately... with the years and the nature of this hobby... contacts have eroded and I've seen things move on including myself.

I enjoy realism and gritty noir, something that I wanted to desperately see more of when I first started writing 12 years ago. Much like how Nolan's Batman revolutionized a kiddy genre into a grand artform, I wanted to achieve the same. Since OS is finished, and the start of it's sequel, my main focus and ideology will be this: Hyper realism.

I absolutely love talking with people and responding to feedback, although I haven't done a great job in the past 2 years as I just completely neglected writing in general. However I pledge to change that, or at the very least make a better effort. Your thoughts, opinions, gripes, compliments and flames are always welcome.
