I'm Melodic Ascent. I'm an aspiring writer who's trying her hand at fanfiction. I mainly write about cartoons for the time being and have even started writing an original novel. I want to get in some practice as a writer. These fanfics can act as a sort of personal portfolio. I can look back on what I've written and be disgusted at just how bad my writing was when I started. I hope to share my ideas with people as I continue to use writing as a creative outlet.

With the release of Kingdom Hearts III, I've decided to put forth an effort to create a Kingdom Hearts fanfic that focuses on original characters. The plot itself is also original, and even the monsters are of my creation. There will still be Disney worlds (and a few Square Enix properties), but the original Kingdom Hearts characters will not appear nor will there be any mention of them. It's AU. They don't exist.

I have no plans to create more Voltron fanfiction now that the series is over. Once Full Dive is completed, I'll be done with Voltron and move on to other options. Stay tuned to see what I do next!

I would like to create at least a one-shot for Steven Universe and I plan to revisit my Miraculous idea. However, I don't want to work on too much at once and confuse the people who only came here for one specific fandom, so it may be some time before I do either of these.

Now, on the subject of commissions. I've been surprised by requests by different people for me to write their own fics. So, here's the deal. I'll be more than happy to put your idea to paper, for a price. I'm a college student, after all. I'm not about to give stuff away. For now, the price is negotiable and can be worked out in a way that works for everyone. In the future, I hope to set up a page and have commissions be a reward, but until then just send me a private message.
