The meeting had been scheduled in a hurry, such a hurry that Vegeta barely had the time to get out of the pod before being ushered into a surgically white meeting room. As he sat himself at the far end of the table that occupied most of the available space, taking one of the few chairs still free, he took notice of the other attendees: Zarbon, Dodoria, Ginyu. This looked promising.

Everyone knew about that night, of course, including Cooler. Especially Cooler. Freeza claimed he'd found the woman unappealing, her damned chattering getting on his nerves, but his brother was no idiot... So whenever Cooler wanted to hurt him, he applauded him and Freeza felt himself dying every time.

Lord Freeza strutted through the pristine white corridors of his ship, a triumphant smirk firmly in place. He'd finally done it, he'd become immortal... Vegeta silently studied him for a second. "Have you now?", he wondered, a smirk playing on his lips. Warning for dub-con.

Vegeta let himself fall into a sitting position and attempted to catch his breath, carefully checking his surroundings in case something, or better yet someone, was trying to creep upon him. He could have sworn he had been running for ages, but the monster after him did not seem to have been affected by it at all.

He ended up in Hell. Now, that sentence was misleading. He was not sentenced to Hell, he was sent there to save a soul, a friend's. According to King Yenma, it was an accident, a misunderstanding; Vegeta was supposed to be revived almost immediately after the Majin Buu incident, but something went wrong.

You don't dare admit it, not even to yourself. It is a dangerous game you are playing and no one knows it better than you; still, when all is said and done, you simply can't quit. It became too late to quit the second Beerus, the God of Destruction, randomly appeared before your father demanding food and wine as if he was entitled to them.

He wasn't sick. He liked venomous animals. Big deal. Countless people were fascinated by danger, it wasn't fresh news. Fine, not many took pleasure in witnessing first-hand how poisonous those animals were, or how much time it took them to kill a human being or what expressions those unfortunate souls made while dying but, hey, to each their own.

King Vegeta flexed his gloved fingers for what felt like the hundredth time, resisting the temptation to attack the creature in front of him. "He has your eyes", the monster commented with nonchalance. " However, the burgundy hue of his hair is purely his mother's. How has the Commander been?"

Freeza took a step forward and Vegeta immediately took one backward. He didn't know how the virus operated or if it even was a virus. Nobody had bothered to research things properly because, by the time someone had realised that there was something wrong in the medical ward, people had already started to turn into monsters.
