I have loved animation for all my life and am always seeking out new series to get into. My favorite series include Hey Arnold!, Daria, Samurai Jack, King Of The Hill, Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil, Disenchantment, Hilda, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, High School Of The Dead, Prison School and way too many others to list here. I'm also into professional wrestling, motorsports,gridiron football, baseball and football/soccer. If I had to describe my inspiration for writing, it comes from a number of places. Music is my muse and helps me deal with lots of things in my life. I can't describe it, but when you're writing and the perfect song comes on, it just puts my mind into creative overdrive. Most of my writing tends to be on the darker side, but I feel that is just a reflection of my own personal life and the world in general bleeding into my work. One thing that drove me to write a darker side to Gravity Falls was that the characters were strong and resilient, much like people that I have in my own life.
