The story gets more interesting as Link and Malon take care of the baby.

Me and a few select people from my class(yes I do mentally eliminate people from my class) are going on a field trip. All of a sudden we are transported to Hyrule and everyone gets separated. The guy who was my bff/life long nuisance goes evil and insane with power and Link is completely incompetent. Originally I was planning to have everyone do the High School Musical Dance when we got together to make sure it was really us, but now that idea sounds stupid...All names were changed for safety reasons(or were they?)

Riku Kurai and Axel Hikaji are best friends. They also happen to be room mates at the prestigious Jonathan Adam Whites Boys Academy for Higher Learning. This is a school for those gifted in athletics, academics, or flashing around their parents money. School life is tedious and boring.
