About Flamewind

March 23, 2005, a girl with a lot of ideas and a love for Pokemon published a story called Sara’s Quest. While the story was never finished, it started a journey for its author that continues today. That girl was a 14 year-old version of me, also known as Flamewind.

I've always had a love for telling stories, and as of recently, teaching others how to do the same. The older work I have displayed here serves as a relic of the past, which I keep here despite deep paranoia of being plagiarized or copied. In recent years, I've dedicated myself to my studies to the exclusion of my writing here and original works offline. But hey, I'm back for now.

Past/Discontinued

Razzle Bedazzled: Mipsy started her journey with a wurmple, one of the weakest possible pokemon. However, her team just kept growing more complex with the addition of Razzle, a ralts with some secrets of his own. Add in two crazy teams hell bent on changing the world and using Mipsy to help do it, and you have Razzle Bedazzled. Discontinued due to age, though it could come back someday.

Sara’s Quest: Sara was a normal trainer starting her journey in the Elemental Ridge region. That is, until she and her friends got caught up in the ancient war between light and dark. Features a much more fantasy/sci-fi element than the games. Discontinued due to age and general inner workings issues.

The Whitefang Pack 3: Discontinued for now.

Warrioress: Samantha Everett is a competitive battler from the unforgiving Orre region, who has hit a stroke of terrible luck. When a criminal syndicate steals her medicham, she enlists a detective and goes after her pokemon. But is she over her head? After all, most kidnapped pokemon are never found again. Discontinued due to age.

Current

Skysword: Banished from his tribe for a crime he did not commit, Evernight decides the time is right to find the Skysword, an artifact said to be his birthright by the tribe elder. He means to make this journey alone, yet finds that he cannot with friends determined to help him to his goal. But the journey is dangerous, and tests the group in more ways than one. A fable about friendship and staying strong in the face of adversity.

Finished

The Whitefang Pack: Umbreon was a trained pokemon, but not anymore. He now strives to prove that his loyalty lies with the forest and its eon residents, the Whitefang Pack. But as he will learn, enemies and allies alike can hide in plain sight.

Features many popular pokemon, such as eevee, vulpix, houndour, poochyena, electrike, and their evolutions. Heavily influence by the Warriors books by Erin Hunter. I tried valiantly in this story and its sequels to stay away from this influence. Please take common elements with a grain of salt.

The Whitefang Pack 2: Misguided Ember: The runt of Flamedance’s litter, Ember, decides she can achieve anything her larger pack mates can. She travels far north, into the mountains, to where the absol live and strives to join their clan and learn their secrets. Meanwhile, all is not well in the forest as an ancient enemy stirs back to life…

Undeniably Awesome: Angelica Mary Sue Dracos is undeniably awesome. Welcome to the quirky land she and her sidekick have been written in to. Written for the laughs and as a gentle guide of what not to do when writing pokemon fanfiction. Someone has already thought of it, I assure you.
