It's that time again! :) I've come to realize that I only update my profile when I'm most afflicted by writer's block. Currently I'm avoiding school work and feeling frustrated because I can't open this tiny bottle of orange juice. I'm no longer tempted to post a new story, because I'm almost certain that I'll end up abandoning Life of Sun if I do, but I just have zero motivation to write just now. I really need to start wrapping up that story, but sometimes it feels like I've written myself into a corner, plot-wise. I wrote no fewer than eleven different versions of chapter 23, and that took a lot out of me, so it may be a while until I update again. Hmm, what else? I added a "Beloved Quotes" section and some books/movies "favourites" because there's something really fun about listing and categorizing the things you love. :)

I think a few small changes are in order here. I added a quote from one of my all-time favourite movies; hopefully there are some other Amélie fans who can relate. :) I'm still working away at Life of Sun between essays and exam revision ... I'm thinking about publishing a new story, but I haven't decided whether it's worth it to put forward a whole new project and potentially get sidetracked from Life of Sun. I'm running low on inspiration for the latter though, and encountering a lot of difficulties with character development for that one. I think I tend to over-think each chapter. Maybe I need to just write something and throw it out there?

Did some dusting off to my profile, finally! I've been doing a lot of writing these past few weeks -- it's sort of to compensate for my total lack of updates this year. I'm focusing solely on Life of Sun and putting Secrets of the Revolution on an indefinite hiatus, but hopefully that will change over the summer and I'll have both stories going again. Life of Sun is definitely getting more complicated than I meant it to be, but I'm really grateful, regardless, for all the support I've been getting for it. :)

I have just two stories in progress right now. I began both Life of Sun and Secrets of the Revolution at about the same time, intending the former to be a light, quick read, while the latter would have a longer, more complex plot. This was a pretty stupid idea, since it takes me long enough to update one story, let alone continue developing two. After a 10-month hiatus on both stories, a testament to my incorrigible procrastination, I decided to revive them, but in the process did a lot of re-planning and redeveloping. At present, I've decided to focus on Life of Sun, which is further in development than Secrets of the Revolution is (which is ironic because I started Life of Sun as a distraction from thinking about my first story too much :p).
