Mae tollen! (Or "Welcome" for those of you who aren't up on your Sindarin. ;))

This is my account specifically for Hobbit fanfic, particularly Kili/Tauriel stories, although I'm open to reading other pairings if they catch my fancy, and sometimes they do. I try to do my research, but I'm not a Tolkien purist, so please don't expect that from my work. I like to use canon as a jump-off point rather than a fixed point, if that makes sense. In other words, if you want to correct something that's non-canonical, you can go ahead, but I may or may not change it depending on how it fits in the context of my story. I read and write here for entertainment purposes only and don't take myself too seriously, so neither should you. Besides, if you're reading Kili/Tauriel, you already know it's not strictly canon!
