![]() Author has written 11 stories for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?/इस प्यार को क्या नाम दूं. Hello! I got into Indian serials a while ago after laughing at my mother's obsession with them for years (I take it all back!), and am currently fangirling over IPK. I'm watching it for the sixth or seventh time now and doing recaps of the episodes on Tumblr - username is phati-sari - and also writing fanfic when the mood takes me. I'm twenty-something, and I'm always looking to make new friends who like the same things as me :) FAQ When will you update next? There's no real schedule at the moment. Sorry! How could you end it there!? Each story explores a theme or topic, and thus each story ends when I feel I’ve explored that theme or topic. The last update was too short! The chapters are as long, or as short, as they need to be. Any shorter, and they would lack narrative cohesion. Any longer, and they would lack narrative tension. But that cliffhanger! I’m playing around with different types of cliffhangers to see what works for my style of writing. It thrills me to no end that I’ve been successful. Please update soon! Patience is its own reward :) Trust me, the stories are much better when I've had time to work on them :) I have an idea for how this story goes. Or opinions on the characters. Or thoughts on the choices you’ve made. I love discussing the stories with people, but please remember that I put a lot of effort into them. Constructive criticism is helpful but there will be times where words will upset me. I’m only human, after all. Will you open up prompts again? Absolutely. When I’m a little less busy. I’m always looking for ways to engage with my awesome followers, and I want to open up my inbox at least once a fortnight for questions or prompts or other fun things. I want to write you a message. Thank you! It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your day to contact me. You can send a message on Tumblr (anon asks welcome) or leave a review on here. However, if your message contains “please update”, “too short”, “next chapter” (or variations of these), please consider not sending it at all. Although I understand the words come from a place of excitement, appreciation, and anticipation, they make me feel like my time and effort aren’t appreciated. I’m not a story-writing machine, I’m a person. STORIES (ONGOING) Some relationships are tied in extraordinary ways. They begin with conflict and grow in hatred. The hatred grows as the relationship deepens. Until one day, even hatred itself is reluctant to grow and only the bond remains. And isn't it naive to have expectations from a relationship founded in hatred? (ON HIATUS). This is no longer the story of a girl who crashed a fashion show and a man who thought she was a corporate spy. Marriage is a journey of two people, and of two families, and this rishtaa will change everything. (COMPLETED) In love with his brother-in-law's mistress, Arnav Singh Raizada is torn between his duties as a brother and his feelings for a woman who could destroy everything he loves. Meanwhile, Khushi pines for her husband in India, fearing that he'll never believe the truth. Will they be able to work out the misunderstandings between them and start again? (COMPLETED) Touch is an exercise in what-if. It makes no attempt to stick to canon, but does endeavour to keep the characters as true to the serial as possible. The story makes use of adult themes. It features some coarse language and deals with sexual situations but is not explicit. A collection of all my ficlets, oneshots, and other small works. A collection of all my MATURE ficlets, oneshots, and other small works. Happy New Year (Secret Romance #1) (COMPLETED) A re-imagining of New Year's Eve where Khushi and Arnav are in a secret relationship. This is the first in a four-part series set in an AU where Arnav and Khushi are in a relationship that they're hiding from everyone. (COMPLETED) A series of 21 one-shots (or moments), which span just under four months and show how Arnav and Khushi came to be in a secret relationship. This is the second in a four-part series set in the Secret Romance AU. I highly recommend reading Happy New Year (Secret Romance #1) for context. The Reveal (Secret Romance #3) (COMPLETED) Arnav and Khushi's secret romance is revealed to their families! This is the third in a four-part series set in the Secret Romance AU. I highly recommend reading Happy New Year (Secret Romance #1) and Moments (Secret Romance #2) for context. (COMPLETED) Finally married! But the adventure isn't over yet! This is the last in a four-part series set in the Secret Romance AU. I highly recommend reading Happy New Year (Secret Romance #1), Moments (Secret Romance #2) and The Reveal (Secret Romance #3) for context. (COMPLETED) The last time Arnav Singh Raizada left on a business trip, he was kidnapped and almost killed. Today, he returns from his first international business trip after his remarriage to Khushi, who still worries constantly about his safety. ANYTHING I ASK takes readers through a day in their lives after marriage. |
