![]() Author has written 12 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. I write for fun. Let me know what you think, in public or in private, as you like. I also come in tumblr variety. (Look up 'riptidemonzarc'.) Sol Invictus is my Mass Effect series, currently in development. Sol Invictus follows the life of Kelsa Shepard from a childhood lived in the slums of Earth to the depths of galactic space. A street rat who tries to lose herself in the deep dark between the stars, chance and her own tenacity make Kelsa the face of Earth's potential, and the best hope for the galaxy against the Reaper threat. As long as there's even one human left standing at the end of the war, the sun will never truly be conquered. Hope is alive. Currently being updated. The Parting Glass is a one-shot, set late in the timeline of Sol Invictus, when Kelsa and her crew (with a few guests) are enjoying a low-key celebration in her apartment sometime before the endgame. Sanguinarius Sanctus is my Dragon Age series. It currently comprises four stories, which roughly coincide with the plots of Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II, and Inquisition. The series explores the politics, history, and culture of Thedas, viewed through the power of blood. An Accounting of the Inquisition is the fourth major story in S. S. It semi-directly follows from Birds of Prey and will incorporate plot elements from First Blood. It's the story of the Inquisition, as told by one of the only people to see almost the entirety of it firsthand. Currently being updated. First Blood is the third major story in S. S. It begins during the closing chapters of its predecessor, Birds of Brey, and explores the immediate aftermath of that story and some of the broader consequences of decisions taken by the Warden-Commander of Ferelden. Athadra is made to answer for her many crimes and schemes, but her captors may overestimate their ability to contain her wrath, and before she's through, she will shake the foundations of an empire. Completed. Birds of Prey is the second story in S. S. It is a fairly major reinterpretation of the events of Dragon Age II, though the story is far from a rehash of that game's plot. See Thedas through many different sets of eyes as the world grapples with the after-effects of the Blight and the Warden's choices in ending it, as well as the emergence of new challenges undreamt of. The Hawke siblings have been thrust into the gyre; one of them will emerge from the chaos a Champion, while the other will follow a different path, but both shall leave their mark upon history. This story is full-on 'M', and though it is still being mirrored at ArchiveOfOurOwn, the two versions are identical. Completed. A Night Out On The Town is a ficlet that takes place during Birds of Prey, roughly between Chapters 21 and 22; in it, Isabela gets up to some of her usual shenanigans while the Hawkes and Varric are gone on their expedition. Aveline tries to teach her a lesson, but things don't go as planned, and the two have a night that they'll never admit (and never forget). Explicit sexual content, bondage, and dominance...so you'll have to visit the Archive to see it. Tainted is the first story in S. S. It follows the plot of Dragon Age: Origins, with some interesting twists and reinterpretations of existing canon, as well as a few things not possible in the game's mechanics. It chronicles the transformation of Athadra Surana from a bookish elf under the Circle's care into one of the most terrifying and ambitious warlords in the history of Ferelden. The version here on will have a few later chapters pared down a bit to maintain a 'T' rating, but the story is mirrored at ArchiveOfOurOwn, and will never be censored there. Completed. Edits to Tainted: Chapter 22 has been very slightly pared down. Chapter 40 has had some brief content changes to the last scene, to keep it 'T'-rated. Chapter 51 has had some content omitted and some brief content changes to maintain a 'T' rating. Chapter 54 has had the second half omitted to maintain a 'T' rating. Chapter 56 has had some content omitted and some brief content changes to maintain a 'T' rating. Note: I've put up an in-depth character study of the protagonist of Tainted. To get a quick look at Athadra, search ArchiveOfOurOwn for Athadra: The Commander of the Grey in Ferelden, the Champion of Redcliffe, and the Slayer of Loghain. Nathaniel's Doubts is a short story which occurs during the epilogue of Tainted. It recounts the first hours after Nathaniel's Joining, and witnesses him coming to grips with his new role under Athadra's command. |
