![]() Author has written 7 stories for Warehouse 13, and Sherlock. Hello! I'm S.R. Wells. A few things about me: My favorite color is blue. Age is just a number, but mentally I feel like I'm edging to either my 30s or my 50s. That's just life, you know. My favorite genre of music is anything but country. There are a few (I can count them on one hand) country songs I like, but mostly my tastes range from violin music (classical or not depends) to pop music. My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, personality types (Myer-Briggs), and pacing while imagineering. I love to cook, and the food I cook tastes phenomenal. Now that we've got that covered... I have recently been away from writing fanfiction due to the standard life has got me busy stuff. I have lots of essays and reports to write due to college. However, you shouldn't freak out because I am not abandoning fanfiction writing. I'm still here; still reading all of your reviews. I have a few ideas for some stories that I might start working on. Like always, I won't post them until I finish them. (July 26th, 2017) I have many fandoms. Currently, I have around 21 fandoms. I'm not going to bore you with listing all of them, but I will name a few. In the past, my top three favorite fandoms were Avatar the Last Airbender, Harry Potter, and Teen Titans. However, my current top three favorites are Warehouse 13, BBC's Sherlock, and Doctor Who. (Sanctuary also holds a special place in my heart.) You'll likely find me writing a lot in the Warehouse 13 and Sherlock fandoms. This is mostly because they are incredibly awesome and have my two favorite OTPs: Bering & Wells and Johnlock (don't like, don't read, don't hate). It is highly unlikely you'll find me writing in the Doctor Who fandom by itself. That's mostly because I find writing good Doctor Who fics really difficult to do. However, crossovers between Doctor Who and something else are an entirely different matter. UPDATE: After fully delving in the lovely area of Manga and Anime, the total fandom count goes up by 20 or so. More on my writing, I tend to be dreadful at finishing things. That will probably lead to most of my writing on here being one-shots. If I do end up writing a multiple chapter piece, I won't publish it until I am completely finished with it. That has to do with the fact that I hate reading unfinished stories. It drives me nuts. Also, I would hate the guilt I would feel if I left a story untouched for a few years when I had promised an update the next week. Which brings me to updates... Updates being scheduled seems a bit stupid to me. Life can get in the way of writing. It happens when computers crash, you have to take tests for school, you have big projects that need to be finished, and when loved ones fall ill and/or die. I don't want to handle abuse from my readers about not having a new update when one of these inevitable stressful events occur. It's stupid and unnecessary. Which is why you'll probably never see a WIP that requires updating on here. The bad side of this is that it might take a while for a new story to be posted. Sorry for the wait, in advance. Hopefully, I'll be able to span the gap with one-shots, but no promises. I will tell you that I am working on a multi-chapter piece for a friend, but the project is enormous and will take me forever. Also, I have other non-fanfic writing projects that I am working on. I am sorry if you guys get the short stick when it comes to the juggling act I will be performing. A few other notes on my writing. I will have same sec pairings in my writing at times. If you have a problem with this, I beg you not to read them and stay away from my works. I have a major issue when it comes to bashing of same sex pairings just because the characters are of the same sex. (Other debatable issues when it comes to who ships who because of whatever is perceived is a whole other kettle of fish. I try hard not to bash pairings that other people have out of respect.) This stems from seeing and helping people who have depression and suicidal thoughts or tendencies because of hatred expressed by those around them about them being LGBTQA. Causing depression and/or suicidal thought or tendencies is unacceptable in any case for anyone for any reason. If you are LGBTQA and are having suicidal thoughts, please, call the Trevor Project Lifeline number 866-488-7386. It's a safe and judgement-free place to talk, and it's open 24/7. If you are having suicidal thoughts and are not LGBTQA, the United States National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number s 1-800-273-8255. It's open 24/7, and its languages are English and Spanish. Thank you for reading that. Now for some quotes: [From Stargate Atlantis: Season 2, episode Grace under Pressure] "I can't even hallucinate right today." (McKay) "Don't play mind games with me!" (McKay to Carter) "I am a mind game." (Carter that is in McKay's head) [From real life] "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." -Albert Einstein I'll put more quotes up when I remember them or find them. Anyways, thank you for reading this bio and enjoy your reading! |
