Author has written 10 stories for Musketeers.

I thought that maybe, after more than two years on the site, I ought to say something about myself. English by birth, I am an English teacher by profession, working in a large academy for 11-18 year olds. I hope to do a career change in the next year (two at most), finally giving up the day job to turn my hand to writing full time, which has been the dream since childhood, but the teaching is a little time-consuming! I have been a 'Musketeers' fan since the moment the BBC aired the first trailer at the back end of 2013. I loved earlier films and the Dumas stories so the television series was 'the icing on the cake'. My favourite character was - and always will be - Athos, and that was well before Tom Burke breathed life into the character. (He did a very good job!) I always go for the dark, brooding, troubled characters in literature. (Give me Athos, Heathcliff and Mr Rochester over the likes of Romeo any day!) Other hobbies (when I manage to juggle the time between them, teaching and writing) include travelling, history, photography, various crafts, reading, acting and directing. I am Chair of a local amateur dramatics group. If I could have one wish at present (apart from an unlikely return of the series),it would be for days that are longer than 24 hours.

I am about to update my profile; things have moved on and, as of 19th July, I am chasing that dream. Just trying to think of something witty to say!
