I'll post one here: Bettina: Last Thoughts Fandom: The Book Thief Rating: K plus I was laying in my bed, very scared. The only noises I heard were the creaks of our rickety house, and a couple of groans. I was sure that none of them was the sound of Mama crying over Papa's temporary loss. I felt cold! I heard another loud, scary groan, and I jumped out of bed! I headed straight to Rudy. I could visibly see that he was dreaming of the dangerous-eyed girl. I shook him! He immediately woke up, with a grouchy expression on his face. Well, who wouldn't feel that way when you were interrupted from dreaming about the girl you loved? Trying to look as innocent as possible, I smiled. "Can I sleep in your bed tonight?" I inquired. "NEIN!" he said back. "Sleep with Mama!" he then added. "Nein, Rudy, nein! I cannot take Papa's space." I respond, whimpering a bit. "Then go with the other siblings" he groans. I shake my head. He then rolls his eyes, and then turns to me. "Why not?" he grumbles. "You are my favorite sibling!" I complain. That got him! His eyes soften, and he pulls back the covers for me to climb in. There's not enough room! I start kicking madly for a decent space to sleep in. "Ah! Bettina, that was my--" he manages to say before my hand clamps his mouth. "Not so loudly, idiot!" I hiss. He shrugs, agreeing. I drift off. Fire. Death. Screams. Pain. I then feel a pair of arms picking me up, but when I look down, my body is still there. I have already given up the fight...death has captured me. BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA Eric Gets Embarrassed Fandom: Divergent Trilogy Rating: K plus Eric POV I'm sitting alone in my apartment, bored out of my mind. All my friends are busy doing "other things...so, um, yeah..." while I have nothing to do except sit here, sit there...you know the drill. Suddenly, my perfectly sexy and evil gaze falls upon my Apricot Computer. I completely forgot: I downloaded the app "Spotify" yesterday! I open it all up, and I click on my favorite song: "Whistle While You Work" from that Snow White movie. It was written about 200 years ago, but it's still a classic for the Amity kids...and me. It immediately starts playing, and I jump up, ready to dance along, as well as sing to the tune. "WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK!" I sing loudly, frolicking around. Yes, you just read those last few sentences correctly: I, Eric Grey, love that song!! I continue to madly frolic around, smiling contentedly. "WOAH!" yells a masculine voice: Four. I turn around, gaping. I can see that he is trying to hide his smile. "Just gonna drop some papers off, big guy." he said uneasily, giving them to me. My favorite tune still plays in the background. "Alright. Bye. Nice seeing you. Get out." I say stoically. He runs out, still trying not to laugh. Once the door closes, I hear him laughing his head off. THAT. WAS. WEIRD. BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA My Children Fandom: The Book Thief These are Rosa's thoughts of her biological kids. When I first held my babies in my arms, there was a part of me that suddenly felt complete. The girl had dark hair and silver eyes, and I called her Gertrude Emily Hubermann. There was also a boy, whom I called Hans James Hubermann II. He had a dusting of brown hair on his head and silver eyes, like his sister and his saukerl of a father. In other words, he looked exactly like Hans would if he was a baby, a saukerl baby! I placed them in a crib and looked over at my husband. He looked solemn and determined. I stood up and went to make dinner. As Trudy and Hans II grew, I saw that they were fond of their father and wary with me. They had every reason to be. I loved them, however, and I could only hope that they loved me as well. When they grew somewhat wild in public and there would be dirty looks shot our way, I would call them an arsloch as a single unit. And then that monster came into power. I noticed a significant change in my children; Trudy became meeker, Hans II became more...controlling, dynamic, dominant. Hitler Youth was destroying my children now. No, not just Hitler Youth, World War II was also doing the deed. Nazi Germany was filled with horror now, and the impact on my children made my heart ache. What could I do? Eventually, they moved out. But my heartache did not. My son was a future tyrant, no longer the innocent baby that I held in my arms so many years ago. My daughter was now too innocent, too meek and quiet. If I could, I would go straight to Hitler and rip that mustache off of his fat and tyrannical face! The heartbreak...it's still all there. BANANABANANABANANABANANA I Love You, Angela Fandom: Divergent Trilogy Summary: If you read the book, you would know that Evelyn "died" giving birth to Four's baby sibling, who dies minutes later. This is when Four closes his eyes and remembers what happened. Rating: K plus I sat down, my head laid back, my legs crossed. I had just finished talking to Tris when I felt the urge: today was the anniversary of when my mom died giving birth to my baby sister. I had to think... !Flashback! "MOMMY!" I wailed, throwing myself at the door. I had been hearing screams all morning, and I had to make sure everything was alright. Worry coursed through me as I continued to cry. My father pulled me away, and slapped me. My vision crackled, and pain slowly spread through my face. "I'm sorry, sir." I whispered. No. I wasn't sorry. I wasn't sorry at all that I loved my mom and my sibling. I had to put on an act, anyway. "Selfish idiot." he growled, heading toward me with ferocity. Suddenly, we heard a sharp cry, and all was silent. "Mommy?" I said, shaking. Marcus opened the door, and I caught a glimpse of blood, clear fluid, and flesh. "It's a girl." the midwife, said. I heard her despite the tight door separating me from them. "She won't last long, sir. I'm so sorry." the midwife said. "Dammit." Marcus said, opening the door and beckoning for me. Cradled in his arm was a tiny baby with pink, fleshy skin covered with all sorts of things. She was wrapped in a gray blanket, and her eyes were slightly open. I took her in my arms, and she looked at me with interest. "Hello...hello, Angela." I said, smiling slightly. Yes, I knew already that wasn't an Abnegation name, it was more of an Amity name, but I didn't care. The look in her eyes was loving, I could tell...but it didn't last long. Suddenly, I felt as if some part of her stopped working, and she was suddenly cold. Her eyes closed, and her pink skin suddenly lost it's shade. Before I knew it...my baby sister was dead. The peaceful aura Marcus had eradicated vanished, and his evil look returned...!End of Flashback! I opened my eyes, choking back sobs as tears fell. I tried to store that memory away for so many years, but it would always come back... "I love you, Angela Faith Eaton." "It can't be!" the teen growls! But it could be... flashback* The party at Spencer's house was getting wild! Chaos erupted everywhere. Suddenly, she felt a pair of arms snag her waist, and as she turned, she looked into the eyes of her love: Spencer Joshua Walsh. He took her into a room with a bed. That was all. end of flashback* "We were idiots." she says, plopping down on her bed. "But the good thing is...Planned Parenthood is right around the corner..." "Teddy?" "Mmm?" "You said something about Planned Parenthood." Teddy froze. "Um, I was just talking to myself about political beliefs, and I'm pro choice, so yeah!" "Alright." Teddy breathed a sigh of relief. "That was close." But, in truth, could she really abort this helpless baby? She had to accept the consequences. And if that meant being a mother at seventeen, so be it. "I love you already, Baby Duncan-Walsh." she whispers to her baby. "I just have to break the news to Daddy, Gramma, and Grandpa. That's gonna be hard." Teddy sighed, and went down to the kitchen to get some food: she was already craving exactly the following: steamed, fresh, and organic turkey on panini-style fresh white French bread, with a light layer of mayo, melted Swiss cheese, and fresh lettuce with cucumbers. No exceptions. But once you think about it, who wouldn't crave that? Teddy went to school the next day wearing peach shorts and a white tank-top, along with a denim button-up jacket, and black flats. Her light blue backpack was slung over her shoulder, filled with everything she needed for the school day. As she walked out the door, she felt an odd feeling...queasiness. She mentally smacked herself on the forehead! "I knew my luck wouldn't hold out!" She the headed to her school, nervousness stirring in her soul, as well as her insides in her stomach. When Zoeline Montez passed by wearing her special "Apple Blossom Deluxe" perfume, Teddy nearly vomited on the bully, and she was almost disappointed that she hadn't! "Now, class: Today we shall learn about..." The young teen stopped listening after three seconds or so. Who really cared about school when you had a tiny and fragile baby growing inside you? Theodosia Rose Duncan didn't. The next thing she new, her dinner was pouring out over Miss Swan's black turtleneck! Great, just another reason to not sit at the front of the class, she thought, embarrassed beyond belief. Chapter Two: Sorry! Teddy sat down with the nurse, nervous beyond belief. What if they found out it was morning sickness?! "Honey, what happened? Do you have a stomach bug of some sorts?" the nurse said, her voice moving sweetly and slowly. "I don't think so, Ms. James..." she mumbled. "Well, then! We ought to send you back home." she said loudly, standing up. "Yeah." Teddy responds. Ms. James goes off to call her parents, so they can pick her up from school. As Teddy waits for the call to be finished, she scratches very slightly at a dent in the table. She sighs, and sits up as the nurse walks in. "Your parents will be here in a minute!" the plump lady says, smiling. "Kay!" she responds, nearly jumping at her own feelings! Wasn't she just sad a moment ago? She was now rather...perky. Teddy brushed it off, it was obviously a side effect of pregnancy. Minutes later, Teddy sat in the backseat of her father's car. Her mother, Amy, was driving, humming along to one of her "songs." "So...Teddy..." her mother said, turning around with a mischievous smirk plaster on her slightly wrinkled face. "I have an audition...so I was just wondering if you wanted to come with and what your momma shine!" "No." she growled. "Theodosia..." her mother warned, her mouth puckered in disapproval. "Well, I still won't go..." she said, rolling her eyes. "Teddy!" her mother yelled. "You're acting so rude all of a sudden! Why? Just a few minutes ago you were sad, then perky, and now you're being rude! You're having so many mood swings it's almost like you're pre--" Amy falters, a look of realization coming across her face, and Teddy's heart pounds with nervousness. Amy then pulls over. "Wait till your father hears about this, I'm glad he's not in this car right now!" she sighs, looking over at Teddy. "Teddy, you're pregnant. All the symptoms seem to be showing. I should know, I've been pregnant a few times..." Amy says, chewing her lip. "I know. They're my siblings." "Yes, most of them...except for baby Brian Lucas..." "Who's Brian?" Teddy says. Amy has a look of sorrow in her eyes. "I miscarried before PJ when I was your age." her mother says softly, her eyes wet. "His name was Brian Lucas Blankenhooper-Duncan, and he died in the late second trimester." "Mom...I'm shocked." Teddy responds. "I don't want the same to happen to you, Teddy Bear." her mother says, tucking in a loose strand of Teddy's blond hair. "Mom, I'm really sorry!" she said. "Who's the father? Spencer?" "Yeah." "Well...let's call your father and tell him about this, shall we?" Amy whispered, looking at Teddy with empathy. Teddy shook her head, eyes wild. "Honey, you know we have to! If he gets too violent, I'll take you, the kids, and our possessions into our spare beach house. I promise. Spencer can come with us." she promised, clasping her oldest daughter's hand. "Fine." she mumbled, looking up at the sky. Amy dialed Bob, took a deep breath and held the phone to her ear. "Hi honey." she said as soon as her husband picked up. "There's something we need to tell you. I'm gonna say this as simply as possible...Teddy's pregnant." Bob immediately hung up, and Teddy burst into tears. It was a long drive home, and as soon as they entered, an angry Bob was waiting for them. "Teddy!" he yelled! "Why the hell did I think you were better than this!" he continued, his face bright red. He grabbed his jacket and sneakers, and then ran out the door. "Mom...please! We have to start packing now." Teddy said, tears still streaming down her face. Many hours later, all of their possessions were packed in the car, along with the kids. "Let's drive to Spencer's house! You break the news to them." Amy said, already driving. They reached his house within minutes, and Teddy rang the doorbell. Spencer opened it. "Hi, Spencer. Can I talk to you?" she said, her voice cracking. "Yeah, babe! Let's go inside." They sat down on the couch, Teddy fidgeting. "Um, do you remember the party you had about a month ago?" she said. "Um...sort of. What do you remember?" he said, also becoming nervous. "Pain. Lots of it. Your hands around my waist. And...um, here's what I'm insinuating...I'm pregnant." she said. Spencer's eyes widened, but the moment faltered, and he wrapped his arms around Teddy. "I'm sorry." they murmured at the same time. "Mom, dad? Can you come here? Teddy and I have something to tell you!" he says. "Yes, sweethearts?" his mother, Johanna said, with her husband Caleb at her side. "Um...Teddy's, um, pregnant." Spencer stuttered out, waiting for the reactions. "I'm disappointed. That is all." Johanna said, turning around with her husband. "Oh, and by the way: Get the hell out." Caleb said angrily. Johanna looked at her husband with shock and anger. "Caleb Walsh! Spencer, go pack up while I try and make your father act more reasonable." Johanna said in a now stoic voice. Spencer took up his possessions, and carried them all to the car. Of course, it was very crowded, but they would survive! The house was only 15 minutes away...very soon, they were unpacking! "Mom, can you go grocery shopping? You forgot to get the food." Teddy called from her room that she now shared with her boyfriend. "Yeah! I'll go to my audition afterwards." her mother responded. Teddy picked up her video camera, she wanted to explain something to Charlie. "Hey, if you're wondering why we're here...it's complicated, Char. Let's just say that in a few months, you're gonna be an aunt...at not the best timing. Don't make my mistake, kay? Good luck, Charlie." Teddy sighed, and put the camera down. She was about a month along, so it would be awhile until she could get an ultrasound. She touched her stomach, and smiled sadly. "I know that I won't be able to see you for a good bit of time, but I'm positive- no pun intended- that you're a girl. I'm gonna call you...Beatrice Lillian Duncan Walsh, because you bring me happiness and you're my beautiful flower, But, if you're a boy...Brian Lucas Duncan Walsh in honor of your uncle." The teen said, still smiling sadly, looking up at the ceiling as if it might hold the answer to life. Chapter Three- Struggles and Bumps Teddy had finished her first month of pregnancy, and had started her second month. She was still going through morning sickness and outrageous cravings (ORGANIC. APPLES. ONLY.), as well as mood swings, but there was one good thing that Teddy and the family looked forward to: Teddy's "bump". Toby and Charlie didn't understand much (for better or worse), which was fine with Teddy. One day, she spotted it. She was impatiently waiting for it, twisting and turning in the mirror. The girl frowned. Finally! There was a small bump rising from her stomach! Teddy gingerly touched it through the folds of her turquoise shirt. "Hello, there," she cooed softly. "Spence, come and see this!" she called. Her boyfriend came in. "What's so impor--" the brown haired boy stopped. "Oh." Spencer stepped closer to Teddy. He looked curiously at his girlfriend's bump.. "It's beautiful." he whispered, then looked up at the blonde. "It's our baby." Amy rushed in! Spencer stood up, and Teddy straightened. The Duncan mother frantically held up a newspaper. "Bob's already an escaped convict! He's been through a shitload of stress and anger." "Mom! Don't swear." Teddy protested, wrapping her arms protectively around her bump. "You're right. I don't wanna stress you out; that hurts the baby..." her mother murmured absentmindedly, running her hands through her curly hair. "He's on the run already." Amy reported, then stopped, looking frightened and sad. She slowly exited the room while Teddy sadly looked at her bump. She knew she had to protect her baby no matter what...but how? "I just wanna protect Beatrice Lillian." Teddy murmured. "Huh? Who the heck is Beatrice Lillian?" "Our baby." Teddy whispered. Spencer touched her bump just as gingerly as she had, and smiled. Life was a twisting road...hopefully, this baby will help them navigate it. |
